To register a business, the completion of legal formalities is necessary. One of them is to issue a notice of incorporation in an authorized medium for legal announcements (SHAL). Associates have the option of selecting a Newspaper of legal notices (JAL) or an authorized press office. Before price of the ad was between a minimum and a maximum depending on its characteristics: length, publication department, etc. Today the price is fixed and regulated by ministerial decree, for certain legal forms. This is called a package. here are the regulatory fees for legal announcements for the creation of companies (SAS, SARL, SNC, SA, SCI, EURL, SASU, etc.).
Price of legal announcements for SAS-U, EURL, SARL, SNC, SA and SCI
Since 2022, packages are set up for fees for notices of incorporation of certain companies. All newspapers are therefore obliged to submit the same rates, regardless of the medium chosen (JAL or online press service). The amount may change depending on additional options, such as express certification or verification of compliance, but these are optional.
All of this packages concerns the legal announcements of creation of:
- Simplified one-to-one joint-stock companies (SASU) or several partners (SAS),
- One-man limited liability companies (EURL) or several partners (SARL),
- General partnerships (CNS),
- Civil society (SCI and other civil companies).
Two criteria are taken into account to determine the cost of a company formation notice : the place of broadcast (Mayotte/Reunion or the rest of France) and the legal status company (among those listed above). here are the inspection prices all taxes included applicable in 2023 :

Rates for legal announcements of incorporation of companies
For companies whose legal structure is not indicated in the table, the previous practice is still in effect. THE global cost of the legal notice depends on the department chosen for dissemination and number of lines of text. The unit price for a line is also fixed by ministerial order and is regularly reassessed.
To reduce the price of these announcements, it is advisable to limit the content to mandatory information and short sentences. A careful use of abbreviations can also reduce the number of lines and therefore the total amount to be paid. This pricing applies in particular to partnerships limited by shares (SCA) and limited partnerships (SCS).
Pricing of additional services related to the publication of legal notices
Media authorized to host official announcements (SHAL) also offer options whose price is not regulated by law. These are non-compulsory additional services that may result in additional expense for the company, whatever its legal form. They are usually of a small amount (a maximum of ten euros) depending on the option chosen.
One can cite as examples the priority processing of the file which ensures instant receipt of the certificate of publication, the verification of information which makes it possible to check that the mandatory information is indeed present as well as thesend a paper copy by post to the address of the registered office.
